Appears to have no positive effect. Problem persists.

NB: Problem does not affect NS202. I can use that without concern.

Hmmm, what does it all mean??

OK I have disabled the proxy setting and will have to wait till later
today to test again.
(But the same proxy setting in NS202 seems to not be affected).
<sigh> it takes so long to test these things...

Subject: [os2genau] SCSI2 connector plate

Hi,
I've got a SB 16 SCSI, (CT1770), sound card / SCSI controller, that I
wish to press in service:- great OS/2 support.

I want to bring the 50pin IDC connector out to the rear of the PC for a
scanner.
To do this I need:
50pin IDC -> female Centronics 50, (SCSI 2) or female DB25 rear plate.

Anyone got one of this?

Regards,

Daryl Pilkington

What a silly thing it is to have a system with a default.ida file.

If it wasn't for the clutter it would cause (and the traffic I would
have to pay for) I would stick a 6 or 10 meg default.ida file in the
directory to give these worms something to think about.!! My logs are
overflowing.

Hi Daryl,
Depending whether this is on a test system or a production unit,
one simple solution is an internal cable (flat ribbon) an simply
bring it out of the top of the back of the rear panel, between
that rear and the case (ie not via a slot cover at all). If the case
doesn't allow this you could also simply take one of the slot
blanking panels out and bring it out that way. Otherwise
you're looking at a custom cable of some sort. If you know
someone with a HP server, they supply such a cable ready
for expansion, clipped to the base of their 4000 and 6000
models.

Cheers/2

Ed.
