I guess you can say that it is a flat fee depending upon the speed of connection that 
one requests!! The faster you want to up load and download and the more you 
want to do so, the hight the monthly fee!

We upload about 1.6 G/month on ADSL, 1600/30/24 meg each hour to sync
some data.
FTP fails frequently but your 80 meg should only be a few (10?)
minutes. Ensure that you have timeouts for the ftp sessions, auto
recovery (reset) and verify.

The failure may have something to do with a mention in this mailing
list a while back about frequent remapping ADSL somethings in the
teleco exchange.

Our ssh sessions are always going off into the ethers, possibly the
same reason.
