Well I solved all my problems - went and bought a D-Link Realtek 8139 based card
and am using that with my old Accton card. I really should have taken Telstra's USB
adapter and sold it :) Oh Well - everything is working well now.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions!

Regards,

Paul.

Not at present. I was one of the people who attended the original meeting in Fleet
Street Cafe way back in 94 I guess it wa, but at the time I was going through Engineering
at Adelaide and basically had no time. Since then I've still got a severe lack of time - I
must make it out to a meeting one day :)

It is nice to know that there are other Warpers around in SA!

I fixed all my DHCP problems when I completely removed all cards/stuff from MPTS
and TCPIP config, rebooted, then reconfigured. All sweet now. I'll get back to you with
some notes on bpalogin soon. With my setup, I am getting messages sent to syslog
telling me that my login is successful. As I mentioned to you, I'll see if I can remove the
dependencies on syslog sometime when I get a free minute of five.

Paul.
