Friden 130 cover removal

Congratulations on finding a wonderful calculating relic.

At each rear bottom corner, there is a screw.  It is a captive screw.  Use
an appropriate sized
flat-bladed screwdriver and unscrew these screws until they drop down but
don't fall out.
Once the screws have dropped down, slide the cover forward, then lift up at
the rear, and
the cover will come free.
