We used Texwipe products for cleaning tape heads, the platter chambers
of removable drives, etc. in the mid-late 80's.  Not sure we ever
actually used them on disk heads.  They make swabs on sticks, as well
as wipes, a kazillion variations.

We occasionally used Endust for this kind of thing.
