I did the first port of linux to a foreign platform... starting with 
0.2 I think, then 0.9{5,6,8?} to the NEC PC9801. I never really *used* 
Linux seriously until around '96.

I really wanted to use 386bsd... but the whole "road less travelled" 
thing, then silence...
