Taking photos of displays...

Flash is a big no - no...

I find taking a 45-60 degree angled shot usually gets a good photo.     
For straight on shots, the best is if you have a camera with a night 
shot feature no-flash, it keeps the iris open longer and you can usually 
get a very good photo.
