The most hilarious I've come across, was 400 (or was it 410). This was used
on the Philips PTS 6000 series with the TOSS operating system, used mainly
in banking front office applictions and the like.
It used 8" SSSD floppies. The 400 was reached by spanning 4 128-byte
sectors. The remaining bytes? Lost forever.
