68230 Datasheet?

Yes, you can define each pin separately to act as output or as
input. In that respect the 68230 is identical to the 6821 PIA.
The Core and I/O board can support bi-directional pins, with a
patch. I needed that functionality to connect an IDE disk drive!

AFAIK the 68230 is described in the old Motorola handbook I have
at home. If nobody has a scan available, I could make a few of
the relevant pages. Let me know.
