Well. This software needs to recognize the patterns of the overlapping
portions of the images, scale, rotate etc. them proper and do a soft,
seamless transition from one image to the other. I know that there is
such software for Windows. It is intended to combine several images to a
single wide panoramic image. I doubt that The Gimp has this
functionality. But I will be happy to be corrected.
