I can attest to that.  I handle a lot of them these days and have had TVs
fall from up to 6 feet, land on the face or corner, and survive.
Sometimes they don't, but I'm amazed when they do (and glad because I hate
having to do the cleanup).

Oh nice.  I'm sure people are still suffering unexplained cuts when they
lay out on that part of the grass :)
