Are you (vrs) claiming that it is unethical for the buyers to cooperate
to buy (and possibly share) one Ford, only *because* the total supply
and demand were known?

In other words, it's OK for me to wait for the year-end clearance sale
because they sell a lot of them, but if they only sold three and only
four people were interestd, waiting for the year-end clearane somehow
becomes unethical?

What if only the supply but not the demand is known, as would more
commonly be the case on eBay (since a new bidder can enter at any
time prior to close, and often does)?

Last September I bought a new car at a clearance sale (a GM rather than
a Ford, as it happens).  I hope you're not really going to claim that it
was unethical for me to wait for it to be on sale.
