Also, what some people consider "carefully packed" and what sane people
consider the same can be two different things.  I have a packing FAQ that
I usually send to people when something is being shipped to me that I
absolutely want to get to me in one piece.

I still say sue the bastard!  Take his sorry ass down!  Take his house and
wife from him!  Kill his pets and salt his back yard!!
