That, and Michigan (despite being surrounded by more fresh water than any 
other state in the union) is positively paranoid WRT fireworks...

Thank goodness we have a fireworks store on Native land about 15 miles away 
-- they don't have to follow state guidelines. :-))   My governor might be 
chickenshit, but I'm not... ;-) (Oh, and I didn't vote for her, or the last 
numbnutz she replaced...)

This from a guy who's planning on entering local politics in 3.5 years!
