Has anybody mentioned it yet?
Use those fabric tie straps and loosen them in tandem with the lowering
of the gate.  Do it step-wise, a little bit at a time.  Those gates in the
cases that I've seen dont come in horizontal varieties.  They all have
warp angles to them.
