C source code to extract CP/M ARK archives?

Welllll, I just dumped ~50K punched cards and converted to ASCII.  Each
card of course holds 80 characters, and each box has roughly 2000 cards.
An entire box of 2000 cards = roughly 160,000 bytes and weighs about 8
pounds.

By comparison, an original PC DOS 1.0 single-sided, single density 5.25"
floppy disk held about the same amount of data (160K) and weighs a few
ounces.

160K is a dandruff flake on a CD these days, and a microscopic germ on a
DVD.

Depending on how many lines of source code comprised the ARK program, it
would probably fit on about 200-250 punched cards, or perhap 4-5 sheets of
paper (if that).

Worst case it would be a 40K file.

Bottom line, it was foolish to pack it, and just downright imbecilic to
pack it with itself.
