Well, is a transistor array -- something like a CA3046 -- an integrated 
circuit? That's 5 transistors, essentially pinned out separately (IIRC, 2 
of them have the emitters commoned). It's always listed as an IC in parts 
lists, data books, etc, but I guess you don't consider it to be one (if 
it is, then why is the ECC83 / 12AX7 not?)
