Why not use one of the very good classical Xterminals from NCD,
Tektronix or HP (Envizex)? I have a Tektronix 300-something and it is
great: Small, fanless, X11R5 or even X11R6, 8 bit color, can be used as
a two port serial Terminal too, IIRC the software can even speak DECnet.
IIRC the HP Envizex II has 16 bit color and audio.
