I agree. I got a Tek 465 on e-bay a couple of years ago for ~200 or so.
They show up with some regularity and at the time I got mine there were
several up at once. I chose one that was a bit more expensive because
the seller indicated that it was working and had been recently
calibrated. Some of the cheaper ones were "as-is". But YMMV.
It's also a nice scope because it's dual trace (which many things you'll
need to use it for will be easer with dual trace). It's reasonably
portable and has a pouch on top for holding the various bits (like scope
probes).
