Decimal V Binary??

Not really want you're asking for, but I have a machine here (actually 2 
diffeerent machines using the same processor) where the hardware is 
bit-serial for binary operatiosn, but does BCD operations 1 nybble at a 
time.....

A simple puzzle : What machine is it?
