I have to admit that this is generally untrue in my case. I
don't recall ever getting anything from a neighbour. Enough
stuff from companies to keep me happy though. That has almost
always been whole (or mostly whole) machines, although I did
once get given boxes of components and chips etc.

I'll happily make use of anything that comes my way :-)
