For petroleum based gunk, there's probably nothing
gentler than lighter fluid.

I have tried two different batches of "Goo-gone" and have
never seen it prove its value, IE it seemed very lame.

My basic toolkit:
   Windex, Q-Tips, Lighter fluid, paper towels, Ajax, knowledge, time.
