   I'm saying I was absent the day you were given the reins to this 
list.  As far as I can tell, Ron's definition of "permissible off-topic" 
carries as much weight as yours, or mine for that matter.

   And, as usual, the carping about OT,OT! has generated more lines of 
email than the query itself.
