This is a new version ( Version 2.1) of KERMIT for CPM-86. It has major
improvements compared to version 0.0 and 0.1 , the original version by Bill
Catchings. It supports wild-carding from CPM-86 , and fixes a couple of
other problems encountered. As a major advancement it supports (set NECAPC
to TRUE in 86KERMIT.A86) the NEC Advanced Personal Computer - aside from
the DEC Rainbow (set RAINBO to TRUE in 86KERMIT.A86). All needed files are
called 86*.A86 - and will assemble under ASM86 with the command ASM86
86KERMIT $PZ , followed by GENCMD 86KERMIT. You might want to REN
KERMIT.CMD=86KERMIT.CMD after You made sure, that this 86KERMIT is a
"KERMIT" as one knows them. Over here we keep RBKERMIT.CMD /RBKERMIT.H86
as the RAINBOW-KERMIT and APCKERMIT.CMD / APCKERMIT.H86 as the NEC-Advanced
Personal Computer KERMIT.

The next version will have to re-arrange Error-Messages, Command-Tables ,
Version-Header etc into the I/O module to make it possible to "move" this
version over to another micro by "touching" only one module - the I/O
module which by its nature is system-dependent.
