Report Page

The Report page generates an printable inventory of components within the NetServer.

The information on the Report page is a collection of information from the Identity and Configuration pages. You cannot select what information is in the report. You can only view the information using the scroll bar and print it by clicking the Print button.

In the event of a missing or non-functional agent, the report will list "NO DATA."

The data on the report page can be updated with the most current information at any time simply by pressing the Update button. There is a timestamp indicating the date and time when the current data was obtained.

Security

The TopTools application uses Java-secured features such as printing. When you enter the Report page for the first time, you will get a dialog box that asks you if you want to trust the Java Applet. If you answer 'Yes' you will be able to both view and print the page. If you answer 'No' you will be able to view the page but you will not be able to print it.

There is a checkbox in the security dialog box that allows you to keep this dialog box from reappearing each time you run TopTools. If you check it, this dialog box will not appear in the future. If you do not check it, the dialog box will reappear the first time you enter the Report page in every TopTools session.

NOTE: The Status page also has a print option for the hardware event log. The security dialog box will appear when you press the Event Log button in the Status page for the first time or enter the Report page for the first time, whichever occurs first during a TopTools session. The dialog box will not reopen a second time.
