Diskette 19900204 19900204 DOC This documentation ABSTRACT A brief description of this diskette's contents CCLS121R LZH The Classical Classifier version 1.21R outline program, with keystroke definitions for DEC Rainbows and IBM PC clones DIALH2 LZH A home dialer for the DEC Rainbow EMACS-RB LZH The EMACS editor for the DEC Rainbow LH113C EXE The LHARC archiver in a self-extracting archive LHSRC LZH The source code for the LHARC archiver LHX LZH Recovers files from damaged .LZH archives. MICROCOM LZH A discussion of communications with micro-computers XTRAC4 LZH Extracts specified lines from a text file. XTRACC01 LZH Extracts specified characters from any file. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Except for this documentation file (19900204.DOC), all the files are LHARC archives. To extract files from the archives, use LH113C.EXE. This is a self-extracting archive. To use it, copy it to a disk that has at least 120 000 characters free, log in that disk, then type LH113C. The program and documentation contained in LH113C.EXE will then extract themselves. The main documentation file is LHARC.MAN. You can display it on the screen with the command TYPE LHARC.MAN. You can get a printed copy by preparing a printer and typing COPY LHARC.MAN PRN. The archiver itself is LHARC.EXE. It will display a summary of its commands if you type LHARC. The file MICROCOM.DOC in MICROCOM.LZH can be displayed on the screen or sent to the printer in the same way as LHARC.MAN. The source codes and documentation for all programs are included in the archives. I wrote the source codes in XTRAC4.LZH, XTRACC01.LZH, and I worked on the codes in CCLS121R.LZH and DIALH2.LZH. I have not tested the other source codes at all, but provide them as I got them. DIALH2 and EMACS-RB are dedicated to the DEC Rainbow, but I expect the remaining files to be suitable for most MS-DOS machines. However, I offer no guarantees on any of the files. David P.
