If you pump the following into it, it'll skip the 1st record and the tape and load the 2nd into memory start at 0. It goes like this: 0/0 ; set a reset into location 0 0G ; execute a reset 000002 ; echoed after 0G (reset) 17772522/100001 17772522/100001 ; tape should advance - 1st block loaded $6/10000 ; Set stack pointer 0G ; start boot. Some O/S need CSR and unit ; in R0 and R1. I'm sure you can do this with a VAX as there is nothing to PDP about it. Let me know if you have any problems or questions. Good luck! -- Gerry Duprey EMAIL: gerry@msage.com Micro Sage Software Systems VOICE: (313) 663-0444 130 South First Street Ann Arbor, MI 48104 USA
