I do not know what the AMD equivalent of a the Zilog part is, sorry. 
One thing I _did_ notice is that the Zilog part you listed should be
the 6MHz version (4, 6 and 8 are the ones I'm familiar with). 
Obviously, one can use either a 6Mhz or 8Mhz where a 6MHz is called
for.
