NNTP instead of mail

I have to, unfortunately, agree with 3), except I would have to change
"some" to "many".  It's not only the company you might work for, but
some I(dis)SP's actually block NNTP.  I assume it has something to do
with usenet, along with IRC, being part of the so-called "seamy
underbelly" of the InTarWeb.  Nevermind the fact that places without
inane bureaucratic restrictions are where the actual work gets done.
