I woudn't be suprised if you could still get them from IBM. SLT continued
to be used in new designs after the other families came into being.

Certainly one could fabricate SLT. SOTs and surface mount resistors on a
PC board. As you know, there isn't much to an SLT module.
If you had to fabricate one, you would be better off fabricating a bunch
at one time on one board, then chopping it into the individual circuits..
