  If you are going to pick it up personally, in your own vehicle, just be 
careful with it and don't worry too much about the bolt - keep the typing 
unit upright and you'll be fine.  It's not like a big disk drive that 
needs the heads locked.

   It also might make it easier on you to separate the typing unit from the 
pedestal...   it's simple and makes it *so* much easier to move.

   Just  a Thought....
