Unless you mean "first home Internet connection for [you]", no, I had
it earlier than that myself.  (I know it was before 1994 because it was
while I was still living alone, which ended - at least temporarily -
during 1993.)  I had a "metallic circuit" (dry copper) from home to the
university I worked at at the time....
