Just because I didn't mention "Amiga" doesn't mean I am not aware of the 
origins of the format.  I specifically *didn't* mention it because I was trying 
to get away from all of the advocacy.

Anyone who reads the EA IFF 85 spec (google it) will clearly see that it was 
created jointly by EA and people from Commodore-Amiga.
