I use Bartel's Auto Engineer (BAE). It's great. Oliver Bartel,
Germany.  I forget, but it's a couple hundred for a single
license. It's the Real Thing, not a toy.

That plus advancedcircuits.com is how I make stuff that doesn't
work on perfboard or vector board.
