Umm, actually no, though it's ocurred to me :-) I paid $600 for
that damned thing. It probably was govt surplus originally though.

Like many of us here I have weird piles of peculiar knowledge and
I've decided to make a go of eBay income. I'm dropping to part
time/ quitting my job (depends on UC bureaucratic flexibility),
picking up some consulting and will then do some strategy.

I bought my first item explicitly for resale a month ago, a
Cardmatic tube tester. Wish me luck.  I do know how to buy surplus
from those places where the seller's ego is all entangled in their
dusty detritus...
