The part where the seller says 'This is arguably the beginning of
computer hacking and "phreaking"' is pretty humorous.

It's almost as if 2600 Hz tones just didn't exist before the serial box
whistle.

Blueboxing *did* fund the start of Apple, though, from what I've heard. 
But not with plastic whistles.
