There wasn't a 1631G. Only the 1631A and 1631D. There wasn't enough
room in the card cage to have 65 digital channels and the scope.

                     digital
         digital channels
         channels (timing scope
model (total) capable) channels
----- -------- --------- --------
1630A 35 8 0
1630D 43 16 0
1630G 65 8? 0
1631A 35 8 2
1631D 43 16 2

All the digital channels could be used in state analysis, but only 8 or
16 could be used for timing analysis. One reference claims that the
1630G only has eight timing-capable channels, but I'm dubious since I
thought the 1630G hardware was a superset of the 1630D hardware (though
the firmware is different). I don't have the manual handy though.
