I'm not trying to start the political flame war again.  I just mean
that by analogy to Churchill's statement, USB is the worst keyboard
interface except for all the others.

USB is better than PS/2 and ADB in nearly every measure other than
complexity.  I think it must have started as a reasonable design,
and just succumbed to kitchen sink syndrome.
