[OT] USB KVM switches

if i could afford it I'd be using a Raritan KVM, but the one I want isn't 
cheap :)  it uses a dongle at the computer end that converts video, kb and 
mouse to travel over cat 5 twisted pair to the KVM :)  it's sweet, and I 
set up a couple of data centers with them after ripping out the cheap crap 
that they had installed.  they haven't had as much as a hiccup since
