I remember that when the hype about 'Broadway' was coming out of the X
Consortium, which was right before the X Consortium closed shop, that an
audio layer was one of the things being hyped.  I remember reading about
it in a 'Broadway' article in that old X Window magazine, probably in
the last, or one of the last, issues that came out.
