Sorry, I realize that it wasn't a serial line. It just had an RS232 style
connector on the end. I suppose that DEC had wired up this thing so
that it used a DB25-DB25 null modem cable to pass the signals from
the ribbon cable coming out of the RXV11 controller to the DB25
connector (which connects to a ribbon cable inside the box) on the
back of the RX01 drive.
