Interesting.  The Multia is so slow that I ran 7.2 on mine only to see that it
worked.

You might want to think about buying an inexpensive Alpha that is supported,
like a DEC 3000 or an Alphastation 200.  That way you won't have to use the
unsupported patch kit.
