Were they high-density or low-density?  I've *never* had a 5.25" DSDD disk go 
bad on me, but several high-density disks have "faded"... I attribute this to 
the much denser packing on HD disks.

I bought Flight Simulator for PC (1982) and it still works in my Model 5150...
