Did anyone ever use 8-track cartridges for storing data? I've seen them used for echo machines, and a variant is still used for storing jingles and idents for radio stations, although minidisc and sample-based systems have largely taken over. Did any manufacturer produce a data version of the minidisc? Gordon.
