This was rather startling, and it shows I must be getting old. I
remember when tubes started getting hard to find. I never thought
there'd be a day when 7400 series chips would go the same way.

I have to go warm up my Philco radio now, thanks for listening.

btw - did anyone else find it difficult to adjust to solid state
electronics as I did?
