I don't know if it has been mentioned in this group previously, but there is a PDP-11 (and, for that matter, PDP-10 and PDP-8 as well) archive site at sunsite.unc.edu, with lotsa useful stuff. (Most notably, a list of Q-bus modules which I find helpful, as I am separated by 2000 miles from from all my old DEC documentation. Also, there are some games, KERMIT, and the stuff you need to build the DECUS C compiler.) Share and Enjoy! Tim (shoppa@almach.caltech.edu) P.S. Thanks to everyone who replied to my line clock question. I discovered the problem to be a .22 uF ceramic in the power supply circuitry that had turned into a resistor! Here is the README file that has some info: ==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--==--== PDP ftp archive The PDP archive is indended to be a place for owners of any of the PDP series of computers to swap software for their machines. The purpose of the utilities is to support various aspects of RX50 handling, such as formatting blank diskettes, image handling, etc. on other machines. Clearly this affects all users of the DECmate II, III and III+, but generally these utilities can be useful to other users of RX50 such as MicroVAX, Rainbow, PRO, Micro-11, etc.
