README.1ST 4-MAY-87 21:34 Maarten van Swaay Kansas State University Department of Computer Science Nichols Hall, CS Manhattan, KS 66506 DIAL.V32 MACRO source DIAL32.TXT description and user manual DIAL is a package that can be used in front of terminal emulators. DIAL is designed to retrieve its input from a command file, which can direct it to initialize a HAYES-type modem and to penetrate through a layer of data switches, transport services, logon dialogs, etc. The last two commands in the command file will normally be ^C to dismiss DIAL, and R EMUL to start the appropriate emulator. Abnormal exits from DIAL can discard or replace the command file from which DIAL was called. Presented at the Spring DECUS Symposium in Nashville, TN, on 28-apr-87.
