********************************** * TECO program UPDCOM * * * * Submitted by Ronald Beetz * * AKZO PHARMA * * Oss, Holland * * * ********************************** UPDCOM.TEC is a teco macro program to change common areas of a FORTRAN-IV program in all modules of that program. FORTRAN-IV misses the INCLUDE-statement which is quite annoying for programs with many modules. UPDCOM can solve the problems as result of this omission for includes of common areas. UPDCOM shows all names of routines which has been changed. limitations: 1. the common area with all its declarations must be in a file with name commonnaam.CMN on DK: 2. the common area with its declarations must be in the routines between C and C 3. in all FOR-files of DK: is searched for the common area concerned after which alle text between C and C is replaced by the contents of the CMN-file 4. the name of the common area must be written without spaces to the word COMMON so COMMON/naam/ run: 1. .MUNG UPDCOM or (for SJ-monitor under V4) 2. .R TECO *EIUPDCOM example: the content of the file GENRAL.CMN: INTEGER SIGNAL,ANIMAL COMMON/GENRAL/DOSIS(8),SIGNAL(8),ANIMAL(8),NANIML,NADCCH the FORTRAN routines: . . . C INTEGER SIGNAL,ANIMAL COMMON/GENRAL/DOSIS(8),SIGNAL(8),ANIMAL(8),NANIML,NADCCH C . . .
