OPEN.DOC TSX+ un$SHUT program ____________________________________ OPEN is a program designed for use with TSX+ that will reverse the effects of the $SHUT system command, without having to re-boot the system to allow users to logon again. That is, it will re-enable logins after the TSX+ system has been $SHUT. Its use is very simple - just 'R OPEN' will open the system. OPEN will work with any configuration of TSX+. No special drivers or REAL TIME support are required, and anyone may run the program, although it requires OPERATOR PRIVILEGE to actually OPEN the system, ie. UNPRIVILEGED users will be unable to OPEN the system. To obtain a running version of OPEN, simply link the OBJect module supplied with the TSX symbol table (TSX.STB) that was produced during your TSXGEN. That's it. EX: LINK OPEN,TSX.STB ! Produce the OPEN program R OPEN ! Re-enable logins OPEN has been successfully tested with TSX+ V5. It should also be upward compatable with future versions of TSX+, although no guarantee to this effect is made.
