Disk Librarian (DSKLIB) is a program to maintain a master catalog of multiple disk directories. Disks are given unique numbers and names, and then placed in the master catalog. A powerful Find command is then used to locate a particular file. Full wildcards and multiple switches are supported. An example of the Find command is: Find file named: .MAC/DUR MAY/GR 75/LESS 100/PRI This command would print a list of all files in the catalog with the MAC extension created during May of the current year that are greater than 75 blocks, but less than 100 blocks in length. This year the full sources are included. ANOTAT.DIR 6 21-May-83 This file. DSKLIB.DOC 124 08-May-83 Documentation file. DSKLIB.EOB 60 31-May-84 Object file, EIS instructions used. DSKLIB.ESV 28 31-May-84 Save file, EIS instructions used. DLBCOM.MAC 1 31-May-84 Program that chains to DSKLIB and passes DLBCOM.SAV 1 15-Mar-79 a command line to it. DLBOPT.MAC 4 31-May-84 Option file. Edit this and LINK with one of the supplied Object modules. DSKLIB.MAC 172 31-May-84 Source for main program. DSKLIB.NOB 62 31-May-84 Object file, no EIS instructions. DSKLIB.NSV 29 31-May-84 Save file, no EIS instructions. UA .MAC 1 31-May-84 Program that chains to DSKLIB with the UA .SAV 1 18-May-83 instruction to Update from All defined devices. The Archive Handler was submitted to the RT11 tape two years ago. It is a sub-device handler that allows a file on a large disk to appear as a directory structured device to RT 11. V5 now includes the LD handler and KMON commands to do the same function in a more elegant manner. (DEC does occasionally learn from users.) DSKLIB uses an SPFUN in AR to update from Archive files without specifying a device or file name, so it is included again. DSKLIB may update its library from a logical disk(File) by specifying a file name or a logical device name (LDn:). The file does not have to be mounted.
